About Sick Black Automatic
Inspired by many genres, main influences include Black Sabbath, Metallica, Pantera, Van Halen, Kingdom of Sorrow, Slayer, and Fear Factory. Formed in early 2015 by vocalist Norm Carrier and drummer Greg Fleetwood, the structure and lyrical arsenal of the project began. Quickly joined by guitarist Brian Olliphant, bassist Jason Hobbs, and guitarist Terry Babicz, the metal onslaught began. Sick Black Automatic entered the Phoenix metal scene in March 2016. Having played several shows in the valley, SBA has recorded their debut single, "Bleeding Out" which has been featured on the podcast Dustbowl Metal Show, and is on the DBMS compilation CD. November and December 2016 have the band recording their full length CD and will have an early 2017 release. Sick Black Automatic is an old school Dirty Desert Metal Band. An aggressive, brutal force in the Phoenix metal scene.
