Disciple

I've been a fan of Disciple since 1999, when I first heard them on *Headbangers Ball*. More than 25 years later, I'm still amazed that a band with this much talent, consistency, and authenticity remains so underrated. Seeing them perform at Lifest 2026 only reinforced why they've remained one of my favorite bands. The energy was incredible, the musicianship was flawless, and Kevin Young's vocals were absolutely on point. They didn't just play songs—they delivered an unforgettable performance. Disciple has been more than a band to me; they've been the soundtrack of my youth and continue to be the soundtrack of my life today. I raised my two sons listening to their music, and it's been a privilege to share those songs across generations. As someone who has served as a pastor for more than 25 years, I've never hidden the influence Disciple has had on me. Their music has consistently pointed listeners toward truth while proving that heavy music can be both uncompromising and deeply rooted in faith. One of the highlights of Lifest happened after the concert. My kids surprised me with a signed drumhead, and later that evening we walked into the catering tent wearing Disciple shirts—only to find the entire band eating dinner. We had promised not to be "those fanboys," so we simply smiled, respected their space, and let them enjoy their meal. It took every ounce of self-control not to ask for a photo! Thank you, Disciple, for more than two decades of incredible music, unwavering faithfulness, and unforgettable live shows. You may be one of Christian rock's most underrated bands, but for many of us, you've always been one of its very best.

This band is THE BEST!! Their music rocks and their message is MAGNIFICENT ! I wish I would have known about them at the beginning of Disciple’s mission. “God deserves more than what we’re giving him”… some lyrics from This Might Sting a Little… this band brings that PRAISE to the stage and the audience responds in a tremendous way…. We’re all electrified for Jesus🤩. Such a special experience. I will be back every time they get “close” to my location, but I’m thinking about traveling to see them again in September. You know you had a great time at a concert when you neck hurts for days afterwards 😆. God bless them and all who go to their shows !!!!

Possibly the best live band I’ve ever seen. The combination of having God at the forefront of the show, the level of energy and the crispness of the way they play as a band makes it a next level experience. I have seen them three times and will see them every time I get an opportunity to. One of a kind experience. I am 59 years old and enjoyed myself stage front with folks that looked as young as 10 or so. Seeing youth get excited for the Lord, now that is something worth seeing every time..

The Show was amazing. i came from Maryland so the drive was 1-2 hours, but the drive was fun. I did the Tour Bus Experience, and it was really cool seeing the bands again. I’m a Rebel Society member. The Rebel Commander tier, so the bus was 50% off. Seeing the band again in person for the second time was just amazing. The protest started the whole show, and WOW did they have energy. They were screaming like crazy, and the singer was just cool. They played a short set Disciple went on and they played, and they where amazing, starting with Radical as the first song. The songs where so well played. Joey was a beast, I was watching him and his drum set was shaking, i was like “THAT’S SO COOL.” My mind thought it was the best thing ever. The thing I love about Disciple, is they are about Jesus. While other bands like Skillet are to, Disciple is on another level, and they are really cool about it. Kevin Young (singer) gave a 20-45 min sermon, about a tree that look dead, but it was alive and showing how that connects to us today as a follower of Christ. Kevin made people close their eyes and asked if anyone wants to accept Jesus into their hearts and 21 people raised their hands. It was so powerful They then played Dear X, and it was cool. It was amazing. I headbanged so hard, my neck is now really sore and will be for the next 3 days. I also screaming on the top of my lungs, so my voice is kind of gone. It was so amazing, I bought a God is with us Shirt, a poster, and 4 picks and a CD. (I also got a Tour bus poster, and CD, and lanyard at the bus experience) About picks, Andrew threw picks in the crowd, and I caught one, it was really cool this review will just keep going on, because how much I loved it so im going to stop it here; It was a really good show, and I will be seeing them again.

Outstanding show! Disciple is set apart from other bands I have heard due to their commitment to Jesus Christ, and their music ROCKS! Disciple has ministered to my family and I for many years, and I am eternally grateful for Kevin Young's friendship with my brother Tim who is now with Jesus. Disciple is having an eternal impact on many lives mine included, and I consider them family and they are in my prayers. Get behind Disciple and support them and their ministry! Also the Good Fight venue was awesome and all of their staff was very kind and helpful. I hope to be able to return again soon! God bless you guys!

Disciple put on an amazing show and a heartfelt message that always touches the young and Old no boundaries with Kevin‘s message whatsoever that guy got a talent that shines brighter than the stars in the sky when it comes to this music by his passion for Jesus and being his hands and feet Somehow or pass his music, but their music rocks and a story I’ve tried to like a lot of Christian bands as much as I like disciple, but they are always number one

My first concert ever and I’m so glad I got to witness this tour!! I hadn’t heard of decyfer downs music but after hearing them open I was amazed. The lead singers voice is amazing. Now disciple did their thing as well. The excitement and emotion was definitely there, I had an amazing time. Hearing Kevin speak about Jesus was so inspiring and 32 people gave their life to Christ. Bonus point because Josiah pointed at me. But yeah this was an amazing concert and I hope I can see them again soon!

So I will start the review like this: there were 3 Bands that played, Disciple, Ashes Remain and Spoken. Spoken started the tour concert, Matt Baird (singer of spoken) Was screaming- singing to the point I and 3 people i was with could not understand what he was saying, but it was amazing. They played 5-6 songs. Spoken did well. The Show was Amazing. Ashes Remain was next. First Ashes Remain Show and I loved it. The band was super chill and was fun to talk to. I managed to have conversations with each band member, for like 5-10 minutes each. I brought my What I’ve Become CD for them to sign and they did that. The band performed really well with a lot of energy, the computers broke down, so they made Rob play the National anthem, which was cool. They skipped On My Own and Lost Light and that was sad, but the songs they did play were awesome. I was the only one there who knew the lyrics, so Josh Smith (the singer) keeps giving me look of “Good job for being the only one here who knows the lyrics.” The setlist was good and fun. They played, songs from What I’ve Become and Let the Light in, along with the new song Don’t Let Go. At the end I took a picture with the band, and it was awesome. The band Is super chill and fun to hang around. needless to say i lost 10 min of Disciple to get Ashes Remain to sign my "What I've Become" CD but it was 110% worth it. Then It was Disciples turn. i did the Tour bus Experience, and so this ment i got A CD, lanyard and Poster. the tour bus experience was 30 mintunes long, and i had a conversation with the whole band about my outfit. they all thought it was cool. When Disciple was time to play, the place (it was in a Church) went crazy. Light were flashing and everyone was going crazy. they played a few song, then Kevin Young (singer) Preached for 30 minutes and then they played again. They did a Encore and that was even more crazy. The whole Show was Awesome, and i loved it. i would go again, for all three bands, i

I took 2 of my kids for their birthday's and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to top this experience. My son grew up learning how to drum with Disciple music so it was truly special for him to be able to ask a few questions and see how on fire the entire set list was for God. My daughter was just blown away by the whole thing and overwhelmed. As we left she said she felt like we just attended the world's most h*******e church service!

This was a concert that we didn’t even plan to go to , it kinda fell in our laps. Little did we know GOD planned that. Kevin spoke A LOT about losing his dad and how that journey has been for him so far.. Two days after this concert my dad ended up in the hospital, he was in there for one month exactly before the Lord took him HOME . All the things Kevin said really stuck with me , I didn’t know I needed to hear it BUT GOD KNEW . I’m not saying losing my dad hasn’t been incredibly difficult but im saying I truly believe I’m handling it much better because I heard all of what Kevin spoke about because GOD PUT ME THERE . Looking forward to hopefully seeing yall in Spartanburg next week !

We drove over 4 hours for this concert, and we met several other families who had also driven 4+ hours to be there. All of us would quickly say it was well worth the drive. DIsciple was awesome like they always are. Such a great experience including Decyfer Down and Relentless Flood. Three fantastic bands lifting up the Name of Jesus. We've seen Disciple several times, and they are simply amazing in concert. Their heart for the Lord and their love for people show through in all they do, and their musical talent is second to none. Can't wait until the next time we get to see them. It was our first time seeing Decyfer Down in person, and they rocked some favorites. It was our first time seeing, or hearing, Relentless Flood, and I left as a new fan. Their music was fantastic, and their spirit was top notch. Will definitely have their songs on repeat.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SHOW!! These guys ROCK beyond words, not only are they crazy talented on stage, talking to them is amazing. They are the most humble and kind group of guys you will ever meet, gave me some incredible advice as someone who’s an aspiring Christian ticket and wants to be in their shoes one day. I highly recommend doing the Tour Bus Experience if it’s available in your city, because it was AWESOME! They told us some really funny stories about other bands they’ve toured with and had prank wars with, and also played us an unreleased demo that will appear on the deluxe version of Skeleton Psalms coming out soon, and it was INCREDIBLE! But back to the regular concert, these guys blow my mind every time I see them. I would recommend them 50 times to everyone possible if you’ve never seen them. If you get the chance to see them live, GO!! This was my 4th Disciple show, and I can’t wait for the next one! 🤘🏻🔥🔥

This concert was amazing. The performance was excellent, and the interaction was great. The band stayed after to greet the fans and sign souvenirs. The music was excellent, of course. It requires a certain audacity to sing heavy metal as Kevin and his band does, while also making the themes of the songs biblically based. Overall, Disciple glorifies God in a way that is authentic, passionate and wild, and best of all, Kevin spoke on repentance, and on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Disciple has been one of my favorite bands for over 20 years. Kevin sounds like he always has......outstanding! The band is instrumentaly tight and professional. Always have felt that Disciple is very underrated. Their songs are lyrically very strong and relatable and simply kick b**t!!! The accoustics and sound in that church were fantastic! An AWESOME venue for a concert like that. Shout out to the church and techs. Unbelievable value for what my wife and I experienced.......Awesome concert and the other bands deserve credit too.

By far one of the best rock shows I've ever experienced! I've been to so called big event concerts but this one is the only that touched my life. As my daughter's first concert, I couldn't have asked for more for her. Worshipping with these guys, all of them, was a truly soul shattering experience and to be a part of more of my brothers and sisters coming to Christ!? *joyful tears* cannot wait to see these guys again, they all rocked the house, changed lives and did it all through the glory of God.

Always great! Powerful. Energy for days. Kevin was in strong voice. Joey was a mister on the drums. He really shines on the new material. Josiah is so talented. He makes it all look easy and plays like an 80s virtuoso. John Panzer (touring guitarist) is also amazing. Effortless player. Sounds as though he could play anything with a little notice. They did a lot of new material. Which was great considering the strength of the latest album. Plus, they never forget the eternal value of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s was front and center in song and word.

Too bad that you dont have more then 5, because these guys really deserve it, from Rise Up to Radical, Kevin and the guys really brought it and Kevin's teaching was Holy Spirit led, he was definitely teaching us what Jesus wanted us to hear and the new song is the heaviest song they have done yet, if you are near any of the stops for the rest of the tour then go see them, music that speaks about Jesus and Kevin's teaching is more then worth the price of admission.

You never will know how God will speak to you. Much of what was spoken or sung was what I've heard before. I don't know what it was, but God spoke clearer than before. And the setlist was amazing. And the band was amazing. And everything was amazing. I got to meet my favorite band, got to get them to sign my hoodie I may or may not wear daily, and got to meet the people who have inspired me to live. Thank you.
