Diana Ross

Well Diana Ross has been on my "bucket list" for years ...like 60 lol. I heard her via my parents records at home and my sister and I would play them. Motown was happening and many of my favorite artists were a part of it. Even when I entered college and the Mahogony album was released with the song "Do you know where your're going to..." It hit me cause there was so much focus on my major and the decisions I was making for my lifes choices. There was also a connection to Billie D Williams and Ross in Mahogony 1975...I took a year off before entering college in 1976. While I spent time in CA. in this interim period I was an assistant to a student film production co, in LA and we were filming at the Doheny Mansion where the AFI (american film institute ) was head quartered. On one of the filming days I heard they needed help with recording an interview on site with Billie D Williams. I asked if I could help and got a quick lesson on the recording equipment ...handed the mic to Billie D...had my headphones on and the rest was history...in the can as they say like movies. So my history was strong but it would take 60 years to see Ross in concert. That changed on August 19 2026 Live at Wolf Trap....Filene Center. Its a wonderful open air ...spectacular design...awesome woodwork and the largest fans I have ever seen on the ceiling and looked to be made out of wood also. Diana came on stage at 8:30 and for me it was magical and she looked / moved and sounded great....at one point remined us she was 82 ! For 90 mins she sang through the catalogue of her hits as the lead singer of the Supremes and as an individual artist. She was very personal with the audience and had quite the pictorial history of her life from a child eventually the Motown Years...films...to current...with her family seeming so important to her. I only wish that my Mom and sister had physically been with me on this night as they have both passed on but I felt their spirits and they to enjoyed Diana !

Absolute brilliant show !! She s amazing !! Her voice still sounds like she s 20. she was dancing and present on the stage- you would never think she s in the age of 82! Glad I could join the show

Diana Ross was simply MAGNIFICENT! The entire show was FABULOUS!! She was flawless in sound and visual presentation! The stage set design was elegant and beautiful as well! Very conducive to see all that was presented, no obstructions! Loved the band - each musician was perfect - loved the solos when she presented them as well! I especially loved that the band was dressed in all white, along with the back up vocalists! I am still overwhelmed with joy of her performance and her message of LOVE AND GRATITUDE! SIMPLY AMAZING!

Her voice is great still and she was funny and lovely. I am upset she opened the show with some big hits and I missed them. I thought she would have closed with those songs.

Saturday, March 1st DIANA ROSS!!!!! 👑💝 Another dream come true!!! Thank you, Lord 🙏🏽and thank you to Me.💖 Ms. Ross, The Boss, looked gorgeous, 😍 and sounded great!! 🔥🔥 What a Fantastic concert!! 🤩

The show was great and for a woman her age she has not lost anything. I could not believe how great her voice sounded, I was absolutely amazed.

My mom and I a great time! Both the vocals and glam were beautiful. Love Ms Ross forever! 💕

THE FAIRGROUNDS IS A GREAT LOCATION FOR THIS EVENT . I HAVE SEE HER AND THE SUPREMES ABOUT 10 TIMES SINCE "WHERE DID OUR LOVE GO" IN 1964. CAN I SUGGEST MANY MORE SUPREMES SONGS AND FEWER COSTUME CHANGES. GREAT SHOW THIS YEAR 2022.

Ms. Ross was fabulous, but unfortunately she requested that no photos be taken. All in all, it was a great concert!

From the moment I saw the ad for this show announcing she was performing on her 75th birthday with family and friends I knew this would be a special evening. The audience respected the dress code of Ultra Glam: Sequins Beads and Feathers. She sang hit after hit. Had 4 outfit changes and Sean Combs, Robin Thicke, and Stevie Wonder graced us with their voices. Diana made everyone feel like we were part of her family attending her birthday party. It didn't feel like your typical concert. The night was magical regardless of the 11:30PM start time on a Tuesday.

I love Diana Ross! I agree that the cost of tickets was high relative to the length of the show. I have seen her multiple times and she is always worth spending time with. The venue needs better seating, it was difficult to see her.

She was in great voice but the show was too short and too centered around the Supreme songs when she had so many other hits as a solo artist.

Ms Ross was absolutely fantastic!! I loved her song choices and outfit changes. She never disappoints! I had a fantabulously wonderful time!🤓👍❤👏👏❤😁❤🤗
