About Withering Blooms
Withering Blooms is six musicians, longtime friends, from the Northwest making rock music in Seattle, Washington. If the sound was a painting, it would be a rock n' roll canvas splattered Pollack-style with tastes from across the genres - blues, funk, electronic, and soul. Definitively its own. Lyrics as important as melody - Production as important as Songwriting.
Inspired by The Doors, My Morning Jacket, Led Zeppelin, The Black Keys, Electric Light Orchestra - Influences outside the Music world are also in full view: Literature and film, politics and theatre. With two guitars, two keyboards, bass, drums, and a penchant for vocal harmonies - the band has an explosive energy, and an infectious sound.
When you meet a person at a party, and they tell you all these cool bands to listen to, and you two hit it off and decide to go to a concert together - Withering Blooms is like that new friend.
