Not alter

Our both founding members, Dave and Frank know eachother already since their apprenticeship and decided after a lot of Jam sessions to make music together on a regular basis. The thus in 2002 founded band had no name in the begining however. Not Alter was founded in 2008.
After a few changes in lineup, since 2014 a stable four head formation has established, persisting of two guitars, bass guitar, drums and vocals. Since everyone brings in his own ideas and concepts, Not Alter's spectrum covers a wide musical range where one can find everything from the soft rock ballade, over experimental sounds, dark stonerrock to the heavy and fast metalish songs.
We are meeting at least once a week in our fully equiped practice room, where we work dilligently on our songs or create new music respectively. There we also recorded our first demo-tape in the summer of 2016. Also in this year we made our first live experiences on various open-air concerts in the area of Schwabach as well as on the first edition of the Up in smoke party. Since then a lot has happend, we have enlarged our set list significantly and seen more and more stages. At the moment we are working on new stuff and looking forward to present it to the rockers in the world.
