Pablo Cahn

With over 10 years experience rocking dance floors worldwide and releases in renowned labels including Cadenza, 8-Bit, Leftroom, Drumma and Serkal, Pablo Cahn is one of Colombia's most established and revered artists. Now based in his native Bogota where he currently holds a residency at the illustrious Billares Londres club, he developed his distinct Djing style and unique brand of House & Techno while schooled in London's and Berlin's local music scenes, where, for years, he was an active member as a Dj, producer, promoter and party animal. Having built a reputation for always rocking a crowd, his sets are known for their versatility and dynamism ranging from dub-infected house and minimal grooves to deep techno and techy house jams constantly keeping a distinct groove and seamless flow that somehow resembles his Latin roots. These traits together with a coherent ability to choose the right records at the right moments and an ever increasing record collection spanning over 15 years have got Pablo to play all continents and some of the world’s most renowned clubs, events and festivals including Fabric in London, Club Der Visonaere and Watergate in Berlin, Pacha and Privilege in Ibiza, the WMC in Miami and the BPM festival in Playa del Carmen. On the production front, Pablo draws from his many influences to construct varied original pieces that cheekily hover between the realms of House and Techno never failing to make their way into the record bags of the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Loco Dice, Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath, Lee Burridge, Seth Troxler, Steve Lawler and Marco Carola. Most notablly his breakthrough double-a side Descarga EP on Cadenza Records laid the soundtrack for the summer of 2009 having being played by every cat in the hood. Likewise, his Cadenza follow up Split EP containing the super hit 'Elle' destroyed global dance floors ending up as the 2nd most charted release on RA's 2011 year chart. Additional efforts on 8-Bit, Leftroom, Drumma and Serkal further contributed to Pablo's rooting in the international music scene.
