About Wardenclyffe
Wardenclyffe is a three piece prog-driven melodic death metal band from Leicester, UK. The band was formed in late 2013 by three university friends with a shared musical interest. It grew initially from guitarist Richard Allsopp and bassist / vocalist Matt Simms jamming, to a full band with the addition of drummer Rosie Jarvis. The guitars blend hard-hitting Swedish death metal with the technical prowess of modern tech-death, whilst the rhythm section carries the band on a journey through jazz influenced progressive metal. This combined with the mixture of death growls and black metal shrieks creates an interesting palette of sounds that blends multiple musical genres.
