About Shu
Shu traveled the East Coast of these great United States throughout much of the 1990's. They were one of a handful of experimental genre-crossing bands that played the college circuit during that time. Shu reformed in 2000 after a 3 year hiatus. Shortly afterward came this self-titled CD. 9 songs, new tunes and first-time studio versions of live Shu classics. A rock solid Shu vibe. In 2005 saxophonist Matt Carl got back on board and the crew was complete. We now play regionally on a monthly basis and expect to hit the studio again in the coming months. All new recordings and old are being released with the launch of our new record label GFR Records. Shu is eternal
