Kevin Aldridge

Known for straight-ahead roots rock in the vein of Neil Young and The Jayhawks, Kevin Aldridge has been a mainstay in the Fort Worth music scene for the better part of two decades. Be it as a solo artist, with his former projects, Brasco and Chatterton, or with his current backing band, The Appraisers, Aldridge’s reputation as one of the region’s most well respected songwriters is shared among the media and fans alike. With one album (2012’s Viper Sessions) under the moniker of Kevin Aldridge & The Appraisers already under his belt, Aldridge has spent the past year focusing on recording and releasing singles as opposed to another full length. The first release of the series, which is being brought to life at Justin, Texas’ Electric Barryland Studio, with Grammy winning producer Jordan Richardson (Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite, Lifters, Oil Boom) behind the boards, 2015’s “Winner Leaves Town” made numerous end of year “best of” lists and served to wet the appetite for the half dozen (or so) singles slated for release over the course of 2016. Sometimes quiet. Sometimes not.
