About Infugue
Infugue is a rock band from Austin (TX), created by Nick Longoria. Joined by his brother Joseph Longoria (bass) & Casey Etienne (drums), Infugue’s music spans across many genres making it hard to put them in a box. In 2013, originally under the name Knights, tracking on Dark Matter began with Casey drumming & Nick tracking bass, guitar, piano, & vocals. Short a bass player, Joseph began filling in during rehearsals while helping produce the album. In October 2013, Dark Matter was released, a self-produced full-length album holding nothing back as it crisscrossed genres. In 2014 tracking began for the next album Necromancer. In 2019 the band officially was reborn as Infugue, releasing a long-awaited music video for “Celeritas.” With the wind against their backs, the follow months were spent finishing “Seance,” the first single from Necromancer, along with a self-produced music video, produced by the band & directed/edited by front-man Nick Longoria. In November 2019, the band released “Seance” along with its powerful Lovecraftian music video. This first official release since 2013 marked a monumental return for the band. Infugue is set to release their next single, “Reverse Synesthesia,” on July 31st. As the band works on preproduction for the song’s music video, they continue to work on the upcoming album Necromancer.
