Mante

Manté is a North American hip hop artist, dancer, writer, producer and guitarist. Born June 4th, 1996 in Fayetteville, NC, and moving to Charlotte, NC just seven years later, Mante? early in his childhood embodied a creative spirit. At just nine years old, Mante picked up a guitar for the first time and since that day music has been intertwined with his maturation. Manté grew up listening to a mixture of old-school and gospel being that his parents were involved heavily in the church. His inspirations include the likes of Lil Wayne, Outkast, Nas, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar among others. Manté grew up with his mother, a social worker, and his step father, an entrepreneur and Bishop. His delivery reflects his childhood nickname ‘Smoove’, while his flow embodies the characteristics of a true Gemini, ever changing and unpredictable. His debut EP entitled Free was released in March of 2019, including his breakout single Try My Luck.
