Topaz Farm is one of the best outdoor Portland places to see music. It's perfect for Molly Tuttle and her band . Molly Tuttle is one of the most talented artist in the biz, I've seen her 40+ times all over North America but never so close to home 5 miles. It will be one of my favorite nights of music this year. When you combine a perfect venue with the perfect artist you get magic!!!

Loved every minute of it. Maggie Rose opened & brought her A game. Sometimes opening acts are a bit of "filler". Not this night. Primed us well for Molly & company to follow. I had never seen Molly live but have followed her for some time. I was amazed by the upgrade of her live performance. Are you kidding me?! Hit the ground running and never let up for 2 solid hours. Anyone who may have been a bit leery of the new band & material can put that to bed. Just one solid groove after another. 10 out of 10. I have seen many shows in the classic Heights Theater but nothing like the sophisticated production this was. The acoustics in that place are something else as well. There isn't anyone like Molly. She is genuinely amazing. We walked out of the venue feeling energized & optimistic. Just a very good time. If you haven't had the pleasure I highly recommend the experience. MOL-LEEE! MOL-LEEE! MOL-LEE! MOL-LEE!!!!!!!!

I think Molly Tuttle is an excellent artist. I love her guitar playing. I think she is an excellent guitar player both technically able and pleasant sounding. Her songs are also very good as is her singing. I enjoyed her show and find her a very able player and nice personality. A cut above most guitarists. We attended the show because I noticed she was playing reasonably locally, Tyler Childers was also OK. The venue was not particularly good though - the seating is uncomfortable and looking to the side is uncomfortable and the stage is quite difficult to view. Although the screens are good to view, it defeats the object of a live concert a bit - but good for watching guitar playing. It would be nice to see Molly at a smaller venue sometime.

Amazing show. The entire band was on fire! This is “Must See” live music if you get the chance. Multiple members of the band are multi instrumentalists; mandolin, dobro, fiddle, keys all present and played at the highest level. Molly’s banjo skills are every bit as strong as her guitar skills and her smile will melt even the coldest of hearts!! The venue was completely over sold and there was barely room to breathe, but the bar was well staffed and the crowd was full of smiles and kind folks! This will go down as one of the best shows of 2025 for me!!

Molly Tuttle with her full band was amazing! I love that she is going beyond blue grass and Americana into a more modern pop/country on some songs. The venue was great but if you buy a seat upstairs in the “balcony” make sure you get there early! This balcony surrounds the stage and floor below like a House of Blues type set up. Some of the seats around the balcony are obstructed by the large chains holding the lighting and buy some posts. I sat center left but had to maneuver far left to get a photo without a chain blocking me.

There were 3 bands. Molly and her new band were terrific. The show was half her new album, plus some older Golden Highway tunes and a couple covers. 5 stars. The middle act, Town Mountain were victims of a *terrible* mix. Vocals were indecipherable. Mandolin and guitar were almost inaudible. The fiddle was all treble. But the pedal steel was so trebley and LOUD that leads were more like high-pitched squeals which literally hurt my ears. I don’t know if they could play or not, because the mix was so bad I couldn’t wait for them to finish. That’s only happened to me one other time in my life. The show opener was Cecilia Castleman, who I’d never heard of before. She played solo, was *excellent* - really nice guitar work and vocals. For most of Town Mountain’s set I found myself wishing they’d leave the stage and give Cecilia a few more songs. I look forward to seeing Molly again next time she’s in town, and I really hope she brings Cecilia along as the opener. But they sounded so bad, I doubt I’d want to see Town Mountain again.

I enjoyed her show so much! Molly surrounds herself with amazing musicians and a has a tremendously talented band She has a dynamic stage presence and really enjoys playing life. We were extremely fortunate to be on the opening of her tour in Chicago We got to see her do a song with her Dad! Town Mountain and Cecilia Castleman were the opening acts and both were incredible! Please make it a top priority to see Molly if she comes to your city! We had Ringo Starr and Roger McGuinn playing shows the same night and Molly outsold both of them! Can’t recommend her highly enough!

Excellent small venue! Amazing sound! Molly and her band were outstanding. She played both, old (to the delight of the older crowd) and played 7 songs off the new album to the delight of everyone! We enjoyed watching the chemistry of Molly and her new band on stage! Not only were they extremely talented, but also very energetic. I can't wait to see were Molly and her new band go!!

Her entire band Golden Highway is incredibly talented and tight , and Molly is not only a fantastic guitarist but has matured into a great performer and leader as well. She is charismatic and poised with a Good sense of interacting with her audience. The set list was a perfect blend of old and new songs that aRe pushing into new frontiers of New Grass, while respecting old traditions. A geat show!

*** Six Stars if I could! *** This is an amazing venue and Molly and her band certainly rose to the occassion! They are all fantastic musicians and also seemed to be really enjoing themselves. The sound was awesome, as usual, but at times I felt that the instrument mix overpowered the vocals. They did an awesome mix of ...eclectic songs with a bluegrass spin, traditionals, and originals. The harmonies were spectacular and the picking was phenomenal. Molly came out front for a few songs and told a charming story about her first guitar. I am super-excited and now I feel very priviliged to be going to see her again! Truly a VSP delivered with a ton of heart by a master songstress and player.

Both Friday and Saturday's shows were outstanding. I cannot say the same, however, for the Guild Theater. Although the first night we were pretty packed in, the second night found a series of chairs on the lower level, making the standing room only region exceptionally tight. Had there been an emergency requiring quick evacuation I believe that numerous casualties would have resulted. The Guild is a GREAT theater but not when it's packed to the gills - which it was Saturday night. Hopefully they'll consider reducing the number of tickets sold in order to make the venue safer for all concerned. But as far as Molly and the Golden Highway - FIVE SOLID STARS !!!!

Absolutely amazing show! Molly and her band are some of the best musicians I've been lucky enough to see a few times now, and it's been a privilege seeing Molly grow as a musician and become more confident. As for the venue, I thought it had a lot of character. I liked the fireplace next to the merch tables - there we tables where you could sit with your drinks as a reprieve from the concert. It's standing room only but if you needed accommodations they would provide you with a seat in the back or to the side. I would definitely go back to Brooklyn Made for another concert!

Outstanding performance. I hated the fact that the Alladin Theater in Portland allowed standing room in front completely hiding the view of everyone in the front 4 rows. I attended the VIP event which was wonderful. Molly is a warm, down to earth person. BTW, I sat in the 5th row knowing that the standing room would block the front rows even though I had the choice of front row.

Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway last night at the Guild in Menlo Park was, without a doubt, one of best shows I've seen in a long while. Stellar musicianship from the whole band is just the tip of the iceberg. The sheer joy they project while performing coupled with the chemistry earned from hundreds of hours of playing together was so obvious there wasn't a person in the sold out house that didn't feel it. This being a home town show for Molly only added to the magic that included guest spots by her dad, Jack Tuttle and the legendary Peter Rowan. In addition to Molly's standout originals that are equal parts fun and thoughtful (check out "Side Saddle" and "My Backyard," both on the Grammy winning album "Crooked Tree") the set list included the Rolling Stones' "She's Like a Rainbow" and "White Rabbit," both with extended jams. For the encores they all gathered 'round a single mic and opened with "Standing On the Moon," the Hunter/Garcia medium tempo ballad that never fails to make me cry. Jerry would have loved it.

On Molly Tuttle- You will never see a better performer in your life. Moly Tuttle is a one of kind musician. The music was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, Outpost in the burbs sent an email saying the show would start promptly at 8 and end a 9:30. We arrived at 7:30 for our seats. Then instead they had an opening act (they were good but it pushed everything back) and Molly didn't start playing til nine. Kind of inconvenient when you had invited your elderly aunt to the show and it didn't start till an hour later.

Know Molly only through her videos and music, so first time seeing her live. She did not disappoint! She was incredible! We drove up to VT from NH for the show and would gladly do it again. And the staff at Higher Ground rounded out the night as a completely positive experience. If we lived closer to Burlington, VT, we would make a habit of attending --

Golden Highway played mostly originals and 3-4 covers (?) including at least three songs from their new album Crooked Tree, which is currently on sale prior to its April 1st 2022 release. I got my copy along with two songs in advance from that album, the title track, Crooked Tree, and She'll Change. you can listen to these songs on YouTube and most streaming services right now. There are two versions of Crooked Tree available for your listening pleasure, and both are great. The version filmed in Nashville https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9x4rCPWtsRM features all the members of Golden Highway, who all performed at the Coach House show. All top-pros with hot n’ tasty licks: Dominick Leslie on manodolin, banjoist Kyle Tuttle, fiddle player Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, and bassist Shelby Means. Bela joined the band for a version of Neil Young’s Helpless which was also a treat. The food was good, the service was okay at our table, coming with a free side of attitude. If Molly starts picking that guitar any faster the front row will need fire extinguishers!

Great show!!! Molly Tuttle was fantastic, as always, although I wish she would have played a couple of songs off her first album (Lightning in a Jar, You Didn't Call My Name, The Girl in my Shoes). But, I was really impressed with Blue Summit. I had never heard of them before, and I had no expectations going in... I was absolutely blown away by their set. A.J. Lee has an AMAZING voice, and their musicianship was second to none. From the harmony vocals to the virtuoso guitar playing, every aspect of their band was on point. I can't wait to see them again soon!!!!!!

Blue Summit was amazing. Seriously loved it. (Couldn't find the music online or on spotify though. To bad would love to hear it again) Molly's sound gear was off. Bluegrass is all about the strings and the drums drowned out all the other instruments. Could barely hear Molly's guitar and couldn't hear the fiddle at all. Barely noticed the bass.i tried up front and 2/3 back. Same deal. Sound was perfect when her band went off stage and she played by herself and the duo with her brother was great and the crowd went wild. Too bad because I'd been looking forward to this for months. I'm mainly writing this so they can fix it for future shows if anyone involved ever reads these.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Their two set show was off the charts fantastic! You could tell that Molly and friends were all having fun om stage. No pics or videos because they played some unreleassd new stuff for us. I cant describe how good all of these musicians are. Catch a show whenever you can, and get Molly's new album on 4/5/19. For an encore, they all unplugged, stepped out from behind the mics, and did a hauntingly beautiful acoustic version of Neil Young's "Helpless". You could have heard a pin drop until they finsihed. I can't recall ever seeing anything quite like that. 👍👍🎸🎶🎻❤
