About [product]

In 2008, after leaving local industrial act [injekted], Michael Kurt decided to start a solo project under the title [product]. In August of 2008 [product] released the first of 4 demos entitled Placement. 18 years old at the time, Michael struggled to get a footing in the local Portland, Oregon Industrial scene. By 2010 [product] had released Reassignment, Drown the Horses There's No Tomorrow EP, and ...and the Connection Fails in addition to opening for Slick Idiot, Android Lust, Mankind Is Obsolete, and HexRx locally and in Seattle, gaining a avid following along the west coast. In 2011 [product] made their major label debut with the release of the I Hope You Choke EP, which was released as an iTunes exclusive on California based record label COP International. I Hope You Choke featured remixes from Distorted Memory and Chloral One (a Die Sektor side project.) [product]'s first full length album I, Omega was released on October 25th, 2012 on COP International. Mastered by X-Fusion Music Production, I, Omega brought a solid hit to the west coast industrial scene in the US and dance floors worldwide. Following the release, [product] opened for God Module, Assemblage 23, Hanzel Und Gretyl, DYM, and Fractured on the West Coast and headlined a one off show in Chicago. Awaken The Alchemist EP was released independently in 2013 after leaving COP International, featuring remixes from witchhouse legends M‡яc▲ll▲ and V▲LH▲LL. Awaking The Alchemist was a different step for [product], moving away from the dance beat centric aggrotech in favor of a new dark calling. After signing a deal with Colorado based record label Vendetta Music [product] released the second full length album Shallow Graves on January 14th, 2014 in three formats. Enlisting some friends and idols, Shallow Graves features remixes and contributions from IVardensphere, Candle Nine, Acylum, Detroit Diesel, and ѦPѺLLYѺN'S ▼ISѦGE. [product] supported God Module, The Witch Was Right, and Mordacious for the first three dates of the False Face Tour. Her Ghost EP, the second witch house inspired EP from [product] is currently in the works and has a projected release date of May 2014. [product] is a Dark Dance Music project from Portland, OR
