Ben Avery's long awaited full length studio album, 'Opia' is a beautiful and enigmatic journey through the ambiguous intensity of looking another human being directly in the eye. It touches on the sensitivity of one's soul and the intense vulnerability we feel when that connection is made. As an energetic instrumentalist, and engaging vocalist, Ben draws the audience in with beautiful and complex melodies, meaningful lyrics and interesting arrangements. Ben is also known for his work as the lead vocalist and lead guitarist of the Brisbane progressive funk trio, 'The Cosmic Assassins', who have also recently re located to Melbourne.
