Well I’m a bit biased as a massive fan, however they were and always are brilliant in sound ,delivery & humour in between songs to break up the intensity emotion & intelligence of all their songs. All killer, no filler. I get quite teary myself & was and always am front row. Listen to all 4 albums folks you’ll be blown away -they should shrewdly be world famous? The new music industry is a strange one? I just follow great acts & love great songwriting -Fame & commerciality don’t interest me and obviously allude Coda Chroma, but they’re a young band & will be truly appreciated and huge globally in an underground circuit of authentic music followers It will take time, but they will get there, have patience Chroma fans & stay true, loyal & purely enjoy their brilliance as long as Kate, Nat & Damo in charge & now additional muso’s -Anita Quayle & other sesh crew. WHAT AN AMAZING Aussie band all the way from Ballarat! See you all at HOWLER, Brunswick -Sun.Feb23 matinee “Luminous” album No.4 launch I’ll be the elder Robert Plant looking hippie guy cross legged in the front row! Love to you all, Simmeau (She’d Zeppelin) !!

Very inspiring gig. Incredible harmonies to experience live and excellent song writing craft. One of the talented artists currently being slept on! Coda Chroma’s Dreamself album immediately fell into my top handful of albums (Massive Attack Mezzanine/Michael Jackson Thriller) where I was immediately struck by the amazing mixing and sound engineering. I listened to the entire album through with headphones which was bliss! The string arrangements are excellent. Highly recommend.

About Coda Chroma
Melbourne’s Coda Chroma is the alias of Kate Lucas, and is a vehicle for her preoccupation with writing songs. Kate’s restless muse covers everything from doom folk to psych pop, with flavours of surf rock, jazz, trip hop and folktronica.
Coda Chroma’s songs are drawn from personal dreamscapes and real life encounters, delivering poetic honesty, with a nostalgia for the unknown. She works very closely with NZ born producer Damien Charles on this cinematic indie folk project, creating otherworldly arrangements and expansive musical landscapes
