Instant Shawarma

Instant Shawarma is a local grungy blues/rock band straight out of Central Square. Their music is all original, but has been compared to: The Black Keys, early Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, and Silverchair. The band formed in March of 2015 with Andy Constantine and Pat O'Donnell, and was completed when drummer Josh Ziemann and bassist Matt Montrose joined later that year. In March of 2016, the band released their debut EP, "Just Add Water," which can be found at InstantShawarma.Bandcamp.com, or in hard copy at any show. Instant Shawarma frequently plays local shows at The Middle East Club, Cantab Lounge, Sally O'Brien's, and The Midway Cafe. Their music is usually played with electric guitars, but translates well to acoustic for smaller, quieter settings.
