Tavern Rogues

The Tavern Rogues began with frontman Mark Nielsen and Harmonica player Joe Doyle playing as an acoustic duo, when one night over a few pints of Guinness they decided they would like to add some Irish drinking songs to the set, so Joe bought a tin whistle, Mark learned about 50 songs in a week and they invited some rogue musicians from other bands to come join them one night at Hennessey's Tavern. The Craic was so great that night they decided to make it regular thing. Grant Gebler and Paul Castelllanos officially joined with Mark and Joe in the fall of 2015 and the Tavern Rogues were born. You can catch the band at ll the local Pubs from Carlsbad to the Gaslamp and with so many friends in the celtic music scene you never know who could be showing up to join us on stage on any given night!!!
