Here is the beginning of something which was undone for the longest part in the history of music - until now. Bringing forth and blending the beauty,depth and soulfulness of Indian Classical music with the aggressive,powerful and uplifting Metal music - Mute The Saint is all set to define a new sound by pushing the boundaries of these 2 extreme genres , in one musical setup,with the Release of their self titled debut Record 'MUTE THE SAINT' which was physically and Digitally released worldwide on 1st December 2016. On 8th May 2017, MUTE THE SAINT became the first Indian band to sign with one of the biggest Music agencies,Music-Faktory booking Agency exclusively for Asia,Europe and Australia,alongside acts like MAROON5,Dream Theater,JAY Z,GOJIRA. With a desire of hearing the two genres together for years and putting forth the richness and versatility of Indian Music and a SITAR , it slowly turned into a well defined vision which ultimately made Rishabh , put a start to it himself - Founded in January by the frontman Rishabh Seen.a young 19 year old Sitar player, hailing from India,Initially thought of starting a solo project solely because his musical Ideas and such a, abstract vision regarding the sound was hardly being accepted by musicians - But the strong longing for playing music with other people , held him strongly to the decision of forming a band rather than starting a solo project.Almost after 2 years of constantly working on little musical ideas but mainly connecting with musicians, he decided to do what became one of the most important steps of his life and brought him closer to his goal - The Sitar cover of Animals As Leaders, were well received globally.A huge appreciation from people across different countries followed with peaking views on the Internet , Rishabh's playing was appreciated by global metal pioneers Tosin Abasi (from Animals As Leaders, who found his interpretation to be ''Incredible'') , band like Scale the Summit,Black Crown Initiate and was put forth but Indian Media (CNN IBN 7) and International Metal Portals Metal Injection, The Circle pit and MetalSucks.net. This move gave a proper validation to his Ideas and goal , something which was not accepted in understood the past.After doing something which reached to a global metal community Rishabh restarted his search for like minded musicians and got in touch with Jared Sandhy, who is one of the foremost progressive metal drummers of India.They both spoke and shared Ideas from then on and very soon, Seeing Jared's incredibly open and encouraging view towards this idea of putting instrumental Indian classical and Progressive metal music forth, Rishabh asked Jared to take up the Drum duties for the project to which Jared reverted by saying ''We are doing this''.After seeing the positivity ,music and effort coming from Jared's Side , Rishabh got in touch with his long time friend , Shashwat kapoor, who also happened to live in the same state of Punjab and whom Rishabh knew as a very talented bassist , who played in a lot of metal bands. They both has known each other for a long time and upon being asked to join this project, Shashwat Instantly agreed.With a lot of love and liking for the extended range guitar sound Rishabh constantly searched for someone who was willing to give a try to music like this and plus was ready to take a step back and compliment the music and the ideas more than the playing .With almost a month of constantly searching , Rishabh Finally found Josh Seguin - who had shared a video online which Rishabh Stumbled upon.Being completely awestruck by Josh's command over his instrument and the Musical Ideas, Rishabh asked Josh to fill in as the guitar player for this project , knowing that Josh resided in California (U.S.) , they both agreed on this and soon started working on music.By the end of August 2015, A few songs started taking shape and the Idea for dropping out an EP in in February 2016 hit Rishabh instantly. FAST FORWARD - Self-titled album by MTS was released to critical acclaim on 1st December 2016 and is digitally available on all major stores (Itunes,Spotify,Amazon and many more) and can be physically purchased along with official merchandise.
