About Chuck Anderson, Jazz Guitarist

Chuck Anderson is a jazz guitarist, composer, author and educator. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Chuck has made Philadelphia his home base for many years. At the age of 21, he became the staff guitarist for the Latin Casino where he accompanied legends such as Billy Eckstine, Peggy Lee, Bobby Darin, Nancy Wilson and Sammy Davis Jr to mention a few. The Chuck Anderson Trio featuring Al Stauffer on bass and Ray Deeley on drums was formed in 1974. The group featured Chuck's writing and unique arrangements of jazz classics. Noted as an outstanding jazz guitar educator, Chuck has devoted much of his career to helping others develop their creative potential. A prolific author, he has created a library full of unique methods designed to maximize each student's progress. He is available for private studies at his suburban Philadelphia studio, by Skype and by a new on line customized private jazz guitar study program. The new Chuck Anderson Trio records for Dreambox Media and has released the CD "Freefall" as well as a new DVD called "The Chuck Anderson Trio - Live at Chaplin's Music Cafe".
