About BRUN DUX
They say an apple doesn’t fall far away from the tree. This definitely applies to a life story of a young Brun Dux whose first steps in music were next to his big brother.
Since the early beginnings of United Electronic Sound, a music and media brand founded by Pete Dux, one of the most active Croatian DJs and promoters, Brun Dux was engaged with his brother in building UES into a platform for showcasing the newest trends in electronic music.
Having had experience in working with big names such as Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Len Faki, Adam Beyer, Dave Clark, UMEK, Finnebassen, Solardo, Paul Rich, Steve Rachmad or Cristoph, Brun Dux decided to go to the other side of the decks to show his knowledge and sound visions.
With roots deep in the dance culture, Brun Dux’s style is very versatile. His sets are long and incorporate a wide spectrum of genres, from deep and Chicago house all the way to dub and Detroit techno. All is connected in a whole with dynamic and dance beats as a common denominator.
That approach got him a summer 2015 residency at the world-renowned club Kalypso in the party meca Zrće on Croatia’s Island of Pag. With a responsible mission of playing warm up and after party tunes for the big festivals such as Hideout, Barrakud and Sonus, Brun Dux made a quick jump and his biography is already filled with performances in London’s finest clubs Egg London, XOYO, Lightbox and Gigalum.
And this is only the beginning…
