Trapper Schoepp

Trapper was amazing as usual. Despite always enjoying his shows, last night was exceptional! Anodyne was a gem of a venue- cozy, comfortable, friendly and hardworking staff, selection of beverages, acoustics, ample parking, overall great vibe. And Trapper's new album songs are top notch too. We had such a great time!

Great show! Trapper and Tanner were joined by Cook on guitar, and Nick Lang on drums, and they sounded incredible! This show was a blast. Awkward encounters resulting from a faulty bathroom lock just added to the fun.

What a show! Seeing Trapper is so much fun. And it was a perfect venue.

Trapper and his band are a top notch act. Playing in a small room, the band brought the same energy that they previously brought playing in front of thousands at Summerfest. Trapper himself is an engaging front man whether on the guitar, harmonica or keys. The songs, and the stories behind them, delivered throughout the 90+ minute set.

Songs from all previous albums. People were dancing and singing along. People drove hours to see him and the whole band and it was worth it! people interacted with one another and Trapper. he had Austin Jones and the fiddle player join him for a few songs. Trapper is great alone. He's great with just his brother Tanner. This is the first time I saw him with a full band They were tight and didn't need much of a set list. Trapper could call a song and they could play. If he's in your town, he is really worth going to see. And if you didn't know it already, he shares

Trapper Schoepp and the Shades put on a great show that highlighted his talent and musical ablity. I enjoyed the "storyteller" vibe to the performance. The venue, Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts, may be small, but featured acoustics that were superb. I truly enjoyed the show and strongly recommend checking Trapper's music if you have the opportunity!
