Trapped In the Solstice

The band started as a side project formed by Jorge Hernandez(ex-Egokill, ex-Vagira) and RPJ Ospino (ex-GL Guns, ex-Fallen Ones, ex-Dissolution from Within, ex-Egokill) who wanted to start a project that would fit their musical style; with the suggestion of Jorge to recruit Marko Pergola as a guitarist. Michael being an old friend of Jorge, was recruited after coming back to Brooklyn and was added to the line-up as a fourth member and the first incarnation of Trapped in the Solstice was born. Unfortunately, Jorge and Marko left the band due to schedule issues. After a year long hiatus, the band recruited a new guitar player who was in a band with Michael called Extalia in college and a great friend of his named Tom Bradbard. A search was done for a drummer and vocalist and we happened to find both Rafael Soberanis for drums and Pablo Vergara for vocals. Our sound will have the brutality of vikings charging into battle with their bloody swords, but retain the elegant, enchanting beauty of a beautiful garden blooming along the riverside against the sunrise.
