Mother of a child with Autism, Award Winning Indie artist , Unstoppable Entertainer, Susan Sheller brings a soulful, storytelling collection of songs that blur fine lines between Folk, Rock, Country and Blues. With provocative lyrics that could make Johnny Cash blush, and a charismatic, God-given voice that would make Janis Joplin smile, Susan is a fireball entertainer who charms her audiences everywhere she goes. She paints a musical landscape that evokes the soul of the 70s folk-rock scene as well as modern music today. Susan's song Lookin' for Julian was featured in the Documentary Normal People Scare Me a film about Autism and she has also written the theme to another documentary about Autism and Arts: Generation A. The title track to her CD One The Way To Here was featured in the television show Beyond Chance hosted by Melissa Etheridge and was awarded 3rd place for Album of the year in the Just Plain Folks Award as well as her original song Chains Where Wings Used to Be for song of the year in 2nd place. Susan opened shows for Jeff Bridges, Kenny Loggins, Leon Russell, Joan Osbourne, David Lindley, Judy Collins John Mayall, Coco Montoya & Robben Ford and John Popper to name a few. Susan opened the show for Temple Grandin and Friends at Club Nokia May 20th 2015 Susan recently wrapped up a 15 year residency with the world famous Los Angeles saloon The Sagebrush Cantina.
