David Foster

This concert was above and beyond my expectations! I wish it didn’t have to end . David and Kat were incredibly engaged with the audience…. And their banter was hysterical !

Fabulous show!!! I can’t believe I was lucky enough to be in the first row, center stage! David and Katherine were both fabulous and definitely a show not to be missed!!

We had tickets for a David Foster concert. It was cancelled because of COVID. We have been waiting for quite some time, a very long time. Sometimes you wait and wait and wait. Then, disappointment prevails. Not Thursday night in Milwaukee at the beautiful Pabst Theater. The magnificence of the Pabst was out done by Mr. Foster and his beautiful spouse Katherine McPhee. And true to form, they brought with them two additional talents. A budding young performer, their three-year-old son Rennie stole quite a few minutes of the show with his drumming display. Someone like Rennie has so much going for him. Blessed with talented parents he is certain to entertain us for many years to come. Another pleasant surprise was Daniel Emmet. David Foster has brought to us another unbelievable talent. His strong clear voice resounded throughout the spectacular Pabst. He is destined for stardom! There are so many moments that stand out it is impossible to enumerate them. We have a lot to be thankful for and certainly David Foster ranks near the top of our list. Thank you to the management of the Pabst for having the foresight to bring David Foster to Milwaukee. Let's hope his return is soon, very soon. It was quite a night, one that at the age of 78 is one of the most memorable and entertaining evenings of my life.

Excellent. Very entertaining. Katherine was great. David was snarky, but I like Snarky. He was correct when he said Simon Cowell was a dick. The truth hurts. If there was one thing I would suggest it is to travel with a good stand-up comic as a 25 minute opening act. Then David, Katherine and guest stars before a biggest hits goodbye and then comment. Put a 15 intermission between the stand-up comic and the opening music set.

David Foster and Katharine McPhee Foster put on a phenomenal show! Their chemistry, David’s wit and charm, the display of vocals and musical talent were all on full display. Guest singer Daniel Emmet was incredible and a sensational singer. I would love to go to a concert again!! Being in the presence of musical genius and legend as David Foster is a memory I will carry throughout my life.

The sound in the Au Rene theater is not as good as it should be. Despite having excellent seats in the left floor box, we all agreed that we had trouble hearing speech clearly. In addition, the ushers stood near us, and talked and laughed off and on throughout much of the show. It was very irritating. We saw this show last year and it was exceptional, only lacking in that we would have liked to have heard more of Kat’s fabulous singing. This time she was phenomenal and the program showcased her amazing voice. However, we thought the show was too short; It started 20 minutes late and wasn’t quite an hour and a half. It felt like a piece or segment was missing, and we didn’t hear nearly enough from David. He was subdued and the show was mostly focused on Kat. The male singer they brought (sorry, we could never understand his name) was wonderful, and his performance of Nessun Dorma was amazing. Overall, what was presented was great. We simply wanted more.

The venue was amazing, the staff were wonderful, absolutely made me believe they cared about me as a person. Kat and David were just amazing and fun. Part of me was hoping for it to be closer to the "Kat and Dave show" from their Instagram accounts during Covid, but it was still such a joy to actually see them live. There was a time or two when the music was a bit too loud, but then I was pretty close to the stage so that probably played a part in it. The only way it could have been better would have been a meet and greet after! lol

Loved it. David and Katherine were personable and covered in talent. The venue was great. Wished the show had been longer. If there was a critique or a thing to improve, it would be that the bar staff do not walk the aisles blocking views during the show. It was a big distraction. Would I do it all over again --- positively yes.

An incredible experience in an amazing venue! David and Katherine are pure joy. The love, the banter, and the talent that they bring to the stage is second to none. An awesome show with laughter, tears, and everything in between. Go see this show.

A wonderful 90 minutes listening to the fabulous music written and produced by David Foster, many sung by his talented wife, Katherine McPhee.

What a wonderful performance. The venue is beautiful & intimate. All the performers were exceptionally talented. David Foster has quite a sense of humor which added to the enjoyment of this event. It was a perfect evening.

Great evening, they both seemed relaxed and chatted in between songs. The music was wonderful.

It was a very beautiful, personal, humorous and enjoyable performance by David, Kat and band!! Top-notch performance by all!!!

show was amazing. a++++ theatre does need to upgrade carpet leading to seats. sticking to floor. Ive been going to this place for 30 years. im always here.

Great show, just so much talent- worth every penny & more. Very engaging, wish Katherine had done a trademark number but she is just great. David has been responsible for so much music.

Totally awesome show! Enjoyed every minute. Such a wonderful talent with so many wonderful singers and special guest Frédéric Yonnet on the harmonica.

David Foster's musical group and sound system were excellent and I especially enjoyed Pia Toscana. She was the absolute best. After watching the documentary on David Foster, I knew what to expect, but after watching the show, I thought he was a little too cocky, sure of himself and arrogant. He even went so far to mention, "Boy, you guys got to see me tonight for this small admission price?" He spent several minutes doting on the fact that he lost awards to many people whose songs were not half as good as his. I have seen the biggest stars perform (namely Celine Dion and Barry Manilow last month at the McCallum) and never did they try to impress us with their accolades. Let the audience be the judge of how wonderful you are...you don't need to tell us every few minutes!

He was a little too much telling how great he is. The music and the guest appearances were great!

David Foster and Fernando Varela were fantastic together. David’s story was quite interesting if you hadn’t heard it previously. He said he was going to behave himself with kids in the audience, then proceeded to swear - on purpose. Not funny, despite the crowds laughter. Gals with him were very good, but bring in Fernando and it’s spectacular!!!
