Sophia Prize is a singer/producer uniting classical aesthetics with modern synthscapes and techno, house, and trap infused beats. The Portland native and San Francisco Conservatory of Music grad student took several years playing out in indie clubs developing her sharp electro-pop sound that is at once infectious and moody, wrapping the unexpected in the sweet sounds of the present. For her forthcoming 2-part album, Sophia has teamed up with prolific producer David Earl to fine-tune the full, glittering synth lines and crisp rhythmic sections that characterize her sound.
