About Ruthie Craft

Ruthie Craft
Ruthie Craft
Ruthie Craft’s cinematic pop style is characterized by powerful vocals and evocative lyrics that captivate audiences, embodying her journey from a young girl in Washington to a rising star in Austin, TX. After performing with Keith Urban in 2015 and earning national attention on American Idol in 2019, Ruthie has continued to grow a devoted fanbase through millions of streams, award-winning music videos, and songs defined by clever lyricism and soulful depth.

In addition to releasing multiple singles, she has collaborated with artists from Austin, Seattle, Nashville, and Los Angeles, including a cover of "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" (2020) with Jason Lux and Craymer, earning them over 7 million streams on Spotify.

In 2024, Ruthie released her debut EP, “Sound of Blue”, followed by “Sound of Blue: Live from Orb Studios”, which captures the raw intensity of her performances. The music videos for “Nineteen” and “Just Believe” were awarded Best Music Video at the Austin Spotlight Awards, with “Just Believe” later receiving Special Selection recognition at the Berlin Music Video Awards.

Her work has been highlighted by The Austin Chronicle, Fox 7 Austin, AdWeek, CBS Austin, and Austin-American Statesman, and she has performed extensively across the Austin music scene and beyond, sharing bills with established national artists such as Sir-Mix-A-Lot, Shakey Graves, Wheatus, Magic City Hippies, Die Spitz, Black Joe Lewis, and Emily Wolfe.

With national touring underway and a growing global audience, Ruthie Craft is establishing herself as a distinctive and evolving voice in the independent pop landscape.
