DyadRiot is a Funky Looping Latin-Infused Hip Hop Duo from Minneapolis. We have played almost 60 shows this year alone including Shangri-La, Hart & Soul Fest, IPR, Breweries, special events and more. We aim to be just as busy in 2016 with the release of our Speak Up! EP. We believe in the power of the well written song with a socially conscious message and use the live experience to deconstruct our material. Our home is truly on the stage. In a world where everything has been done before we have found uniqueness. DyadRiot implements looping, guitar effects, violin effects, vocal processing, and drum processors to create a unique funky vibe highlighting our positive attitudes. Slammin’ jams all the while showcasing top notch artistry while piecing together a flight of music on the fly. We often hear this, “I can’t believe how much sound comes out of you 2 guys.” We use acoustic instruments and often play organically but we aren’t afraid of technology. We happily embrace its promise and implement effects and loops into our set. Think Mike Love and Sam Ites with more poppy hip hop, improv, movement, and pure joy on our faces.
