Sour Apple Surgery

Sour Apple Surgery, formed in June of 2001. The group represents the culminated creative repituars of drummer / bassist Josh Hobbs, and guitarist / effectist Barron Mos. SAS started originally as AM/FM, a conceptual band. And in 2007, the group reformed to create sounds and songs that were uncommon to normal times. In April of 2009, the band released their first album "Malus Sylvestris." The album features 15 songs and several rare recordings. And in September/October 2009, the group recorded their second album "Excisions" for release on 10-13-09. Odd polyrhythms, tunings, and time signatures, are just the beginning.
