Ivan Santoro

Ivan Santoro was born in 1987 in St. Gallen, Switzerland, where he lived for a couple of years, later moving to Tessin, his current residence.
His passion for electronic music started when he was 14 years old. Thanks to a schoolmate he discovers the world of DJ'ing and mixing by organizing school parties.
Being a frequent clubber at the Living Room club in Lugano and many other parties in Switzerland, Tessin and the whole of Europe, he develops his passion per the tech-house and minimal genre.
In 2007, with his friend Marco, he decides to buy his first turntables and in his garage he starts to take his first steps into mixing.
The turning point happens in 2008 when he meets an events planner from town. By beginning to meet many other DJ’s, discovering other sounds edging towards the tech-house scene. Thanks to a lot of advice from a more experienced DJ, he improves his mixing skills and achieves good feedbacks and personal satisfactions, beginning then to start as an opening act at local gigs.
From 2009 till 2015 he has had the possibility and the pleasure to meet various DJ's/Producers from Tessin, discovering and appreciating many other types of sounds (among which deep-house) and the world of music production.
His passion for music opens up the discovery of other artists from the Swiss and European scene. Thanks to the people who believed in him, he has managed to play in a lot of main gigs in the italian part of Switzerland and has luckily had the experience to present his dj sets on the radio too.
From 2015 onwards he has started to take the first steps into music production.
