Scotty Troutman Music

My name is Scotty Troutman I am from a small place in south west of QLD ( THALLON) and have been playing music since a very young age in small communities traveling with my father and uncles in our family band called ,(CAPITAL T) . I moved to TAMWORTH NSW to follow my dream 3 years ago and I have had a chance to play with some amazing musicians . I'm the youngest of 3 and the las t to carry the music to a high standard that my father raised me to achieve . My father passed away 12 years ago it took me along time to even find the interest for music again. I become locked in a fight with denial and depression I have 5 beautiful children now and have split from their mother and suffered more depression than I thought was even imaginable and become very dangerous to myself, BUT music has given me a new life and I have been chopping away and recently graduated from the academy of country music 2015 I was granted the ( Troy Cassar-Daley indigenous scholarship ) and have recorded my EP and have a big plan to make this year a big one playing major festivals and working with and meeting as many great people as possible, I am planning to take a good outfit back to all the inland remote communities that I grew up around to entertain them as I beleive that there is a lack of good entertainment in the country, also tell my story and hopefully help somebody that needs it and support them in the journey to success and harmony.
