Bye Bye Empire

Staten Island's very own Bye Bye Empire has just released its first single, Around, and if that tune is any indicator of the future, the band has plenty of more riff-focused, electronically sprinkled, melodically soaring secrets up its sleeve. Starting as an experimental project in 2012, Bye Bye Empire has grown into its own distinct sound, combining the ear-grabbing elements of each member's musical influences and creating a chunky, tasty rock stew mixed with blues, alternative, punk, and electronic sounds. Frontman Brian Buchanan explains what makes Bye Bye Empire so successful:
