The band was founded back in 2015 and released their debut album „Breaking Silence” in late 2016 which was mastered by Scott Hull at masterdisk in New York.
Right from the start, rekkorder were convincing at various club gigs and festivals and quickly gained a fan base.
In 2017 and 2018, the band flew to Mali for several concerts as part of the MINUSMA mission to Mali to play in the West African heat in front of an international audience.
In 2019 the quartet went for concert trips to Jordan and Kabul (Afghanistan) in addition to other club gigs and festivals in Germany.
End of February 2020, rekkorder made another support trip for the German- and other nations armies to Afghanistan and was the last band that ever played in Afghanistan!
2021, still dominated by Corona and not allowing any gigs, was used for the final production and release of the new album "One" as well as some music videos.
2022 was used for promoting the One album with further video clips and some shows
2023 a strong focus on shows esp. festivals but also club gigs. Also the band worked on new songs and released further videos.
2024 the band gets more and more professionalised, starts a new era with a new singer and released the first single "On the Road"
