Junior Rocket Scientist

JRS is a rock trio from Boise, ID. Often compared to Joy Division and Sonic Youth, their songs are driving and melancholic, with guitars and viola bending and crashing through waves of delay and distortion. Having played together for more than five years, singer/guitarist/violist Britton Glenn and bassist Brian Anglin joined drummer Christopher Smith in 2013 to form their most raucous incarnation to date. They released 'Lady Alice Ep' with drummer Joey Jeter and are currently recording. A new song is announced to be released on the Treefort Music Festival website on thursday February 13.
