About Iron Fate

OUR DEBUT ALBUM "CAST IN IRON" https://itunes.apple.com/de/album/cast-in-iron/id1221998710 Back in 2004, Goslar, Lower-Saxony: brethren Harms and Sascha Wendler decided to breath life into a musical project called “Crypteria”, aspiring to underline their reverence of Heavy Metal acts such as Judas Priest, Iron Maiden or Sanctuary. Several line up changes followed, letting the band evolve, but none of these was as crucial as the entering of vocalist Denis Brosowski. His vocal qualities allowed the band for the first time to attain their musical intentions for real. Fate? For sure: “Iron Fate”! From now on “Iron Fate” did what bands usually do: playing shows and broadening their musical repertoire. In 2010 a further milestone was set for the band. The German record label “Massacre Records” gave “Iron Fate” opportunity to introduce themselves to a broader audience by releasing their previously recorded album “Cast In Iron”. Since then Iron Fate had a steep curve in career, be it on receiving excellent album reviews by renown magazines such as Rock Hard, Metal Hammer, etc. or sharing stages with top acts like Fates Warning, Iron Savior, Mercenary and many more, culminating in 2011's “Metal Service” European tour alongside Lonewolf and Dragonsfire. But the all-time high shouldn't last forever. Again personnel matters resulted in a cloudy sky. First guitarist Martin Pflugmacher left the band in 2013 but could fortunately be replaced by former “Into The Void” six-stringer Oliver von Daak. Next problem hasn't to be long in coming. Drummer and founder Sascha Wendler left the band due to job-related issues in 2014. Again a replacement was found in former “Deny The Urge” drummer Kai Ludwig, who already helped out occasionally before on drums . As if this wasn't enough, bass player Jan Abraham left the band following new interests as dubber and actor in 2016. And again, luckily a new bassist Jan Sasse (“Crown The King”) was able to fill that gap. Until today this current line up is constantly working on new material to produce a worthy successor of “Cast In Iron”. Furthermore Iron Fate never ceased appearing live, resulting in terrific live shows together with Metal Inquisitor, Cage, Stallion, Raven and Victory, just to mention a few. Although it's basically the fate of iron, it's not an option for “Iron Fate”: to rust!
