Lost to the River

Lost to the River is an award winning indie rock band from the nation’s capital. The Ottawa quintet emerges from the ruins of Miss Polygamy. Though their members remain the same, LTTR has taken a more controlled and provoking approach to their music. The band is already playing big festivals, esteemed music joints and scoring nods for notable awards on the big stage. Lost to the River spent the cold winter months in their hometown at Gallery Studios. The result is a critically acclaimed six song EP rich in dynamics, harmonies, textures, catchy melodies and thoughtful lyrics. Their evolution takes them away from their previous sound and moves them towards the Canadiana/indie/folk genre. Their self-titled debut EP was released in September as part of CityFolk’s Marvest program. The band played to over one thousand people at the Aberdeen Pavilion and was subsequently presented with the Stingray Rising Star Award. Their songs have received extensive airplay on internet radio, CBC and campus radio stations across Canada. LTTR has since expanded their audience by playing shows throughout Ontario and Quebec.
