About Trevor Clark
The self taught musician and emerging artist Trevor Clark has been actively engaged in music since he first picked up the guitar at the age of 10. Since then he has performed numerous solo acts and spent years collaborating within bands, including two that he began himself. Everyday Trevor Clark develops a stronger bond with music. The Self taught musician often considers it an extension of himself, capturing and releasing his imagination and love for the world. For Trevor, life would be bland and existential without the colorful vibrations of sound and music and it has had a profound impact in almost all facets of his life. Music is not a choice for Trevor, rather the only way of living he knows.
Trevor's raw talent has been absorbed from his fundamental upbringing of music with soul. He sets out to make a wide variety of creative and complex, yet balanced sounds. Frequently feels a need to experiment on the edge with musical loops. Trevor's music is vibrant in nature with subtle hints of life's complexities, his big sound and dynamic voice captivates audiences and encourages dancing. His improvisational nature allows him to rearrange originals, covers, and styles of music together to create an exhilarating spectacle of musical mash ups.
I've noted that music is a strung together science of sharp and flat lessons of love. At my shows you can tune in by listening to the Beat.
Trevor Clark has sat in with artists such as Allie Kral, Rumpke Mountain Boy's, Jaik Willis, Janis Wallin (Family Groove Company), Sean Shiel (Miles Over Mountain), EGI, Chachuba, Cope, and many more.
Trevor's was a member of Under The Willow during which he opened up for bands such as Jason Isbell, Cornmeal, Fruition, Applebutter Express,The Way Down Wanderers.
He's played on stage at the following festivals: Shoefest, SnowShoe, Beaver Island Music Festival, Peace Fest, Summer Stomp, After Noon Moon fest, Jammin' On the Wolf, and Borrowed Bicycle Fest (aka Bike Fest, which he was the head coordinator and main performer with < 500 in attendance.)
Trevor currently performs solo, with his band Borrowed Bicycle (plays lead electric guitar,) and with his newest project, The Trevor Clark Trio ( with two members of the bluegrass band Prichard Harter.)
Warning when listening to my music notes may cause brown outs, also music may provoke, thoughts of sex, drugs and other forms of irrational musical shout outs. When attending shows remember to wear your space helmet and or obnoxiously stylish a cappella pants.
