United By Fate

Formed early 2008 by Rain Francisco(guitars) and Ronnel Rosales(bass) both from the band Aborted Tales At Night and the band's original vocalist Christian Ruedas. The name United By Fate came from the game Rival Schools: United By Fate that was coined by Christian Ruedas. Oshni Janoras ,Jhun Castillo, and Justin Estrella was then added to complete the lineup. That lineup lasted for more than a year doing shows around Metro Manila perfroming classic songs like Ashes,Drowning Fundamentals, and Through These Walls(now The Sorrow)before going through a major lineup change sometime in August 2009 because of musical differences and schedule conflicts. Philipp Dunkel,a common friend was then invited to fill in for vocals,later Oshni's friend James Esguerra was then invited to perform the duties as a drummer for the band. The lineup now consists of Rain,Ronnel,Philipp and James that had gigs through Manila,Cavite,Bulacan,Rizal,Pasig,Olongapo,Baguio,Laguna,Paranaque and of course Quezon City. United By Fate continued as a 4 piece band before finding the final member on YOUTUBE.COM sometime in July 2010. James found him on youtube. The band then made quick negotiations for a jam. After a few rehearsals,Lorenzo Ruiz Gumabao was then added as a guitarist that completed the present line up. The lineup debuted on August 13,2010 with the songs Fragmented,Marching In Flames,A Better Tomorrow,I am The Hitman and the classic song The Sorrow. We are a Metalcore band from Quezon City!
