When a jazzy-blues-playing boy meets a classical-songwriter-girl, the result is a musical match made in heaven. Meet Cherry Pill; a husband-and-wife team who explore their shared passion for music by performing their eclectic brand of music, which ranges from foot-tapping Gypsy jazz to delicate folk and everything in-between.

Expect thoughtful lyrics and sweet vocal harmonies, underpinned by the soaring melodies of Kristel's classically-trained violin playing and Rory's blues and jazz-infused guitar licks.

Cherry Pill is a metaphor for life - the sweet and joyful mix with the bittersweet moments to create a rich experience full of twists and turns.
Their début recording 'Chocolate Box' will take you on a musical journey, with each song evoking a different emotion - from the wistful romanticism of "Silent Movie" to the darkly brooding "Bare".
Cherry Pill are working towards recording a new album in 2018.

- In 2015 Cherry Pill performed on the South African Stage organised by IMEXSA at Midem in Cannes, France.
- In 2016 Cherry Pill performed 2 concert venues at the South By South West Festival in Austin, again under the oragnisational umbrella of IMEXSA.
- In November 2016 Cherry Pill released an instrumental side-project album titled Si Tu Savais, aimed at paying tribute to some of the musicians which have inspired them, such as Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt. This album is currently receiving airplay on Classic FM and Fine Music Radio.
- In December 2016 Cherry Pill had a successful Summer tour performing at various spots along the Garden Route, South Africa.
- In August 2017 Cherry Pill embarked on a 2 week tour to The Netherlands and France.
