Matia Bazar is a band from Italy, formed in 1975 by Piero Cassano, Aldo Stellita, Carlo Marrale, Giancarlo Golzi and Antonella Ruggiero. In that year they scored their first hit 'Stasera che sera'. In 1978 they performed at Festival di Sanremo and won the first price with 'E dirsi ciao'. Matia Bazar scored in the seventies some international hits like 'Per un' ora d'amore' (1975) and 'Solo tu' (1977). The biggest hit is 'Ti Sento', becoming known worldwide.
