Mr.Phylzzz is my new favorite band. They rock hard, are super fun, and a great talent I'm glad to have finally discovered. Wish I had sooner. Not to mention super nice guys. It was great getting a chance to talk to both of them.
It was my first time seeing a show at The White Lilac in Kenosha. I grew up there, don't visit often anymore, but now I have more of a reason. Cool, intimate venue. The owner/manager I talked to was super nice. Plus, it's right around the corner from my favorite Kenosha bar, The Port of Kenosha (The Port), practically next to Captain Mike's for great bar food, and Villa De Carlo for great Kenosha-style thin crust pizza and other great Italian food.

Ugly Noise in the Key of Z Z Z.
Formed in late 2015 mr.phylzzz (pronounced mr. flyzzz) is a ever changing monster of noise. Over time mr.phylzzz formed a heavy wall of sound filled with hooky riffs and melodic vocals that create a chaotic storm thats worth the painful wall of cranked amps and exploding drums. During the growing years phylzzz was doing small tours which landed them getting picked up in 2019 by Amphetamine Reptile Records to be featured on the legendary Dope Guns n Fucking In the Streets Vol 14 comp followed by a Full length "Penitent Curtis" (2019). Phylzzz is currently on tour and have a new record coming 2022
