The electric and captivating energy that radiates from Cyanide Sunrise is one that fans around the East Coast, Midwest and Southern United States have had the opportunity to experience since the band’s inception in 2011. Each band member provides his own contribution to the unique image that, when combined, creates a one-of-a-kind experience that even a near-lethal amount of whiskey can’t erase the memory of. Whether it is Kyler Miller (lead vocals) falling off the stage during a show or throwing his phone to the crowd to take pictures; Jason Zaharick (guitar/vocals), smashing his guitar in the middle of an encore; Andy Strausser (bass/vocals) stage diving with his gear still attached taking out the entire front of the stage; or Cody Howe (drums) tossing a drumstick and having it accidentally hit an unsuspecting member of the crowd in the face; every performance is guaranteed to exceed the value of the cover charge at your local venue. Not only do the guys of Cyanide Sunrise create a memorable performance, they also create all of their own music from start to finish. With inspirations like Chiodos, Brand New and Every Time I Die, the group is able to produce solid hard-rock/metal music with lyrics and rhythms that are passionate and catchy. In 2013 alone, Cyanide Sunrise had the opportunity to play at festivals including: Dirtfest, Rockapalooza, the All Stars Tour, Headbang for the Highway, Recklessfest 2, Hogbash 9 and the A2 Fest. Many of these festivals featured the band on the main stage and sharing rosters with national acts like Asking Alexandria, Sevendust, Candlebox, Taproot and Saliva. In 2012, fans of Cyanide Sunrise were eager for the release of the self-titled EP and debut of the video for “Hourglass”.
