Described as “the demon spawn of Freddie Mercury & Janis Joplin” Cunio’s “gloriously gritty” solo album Back Alley Soul debuted at #6 on iTunes R&B/Soul charts. Formerly the “electrifying wailer” in PBS “sensation” Under The Streetlamp, Cunio currently averages nearly 150 “electrifying” shows a year at venues including the Greek Theater, Wolf Trap and Brooklyn Bowl. He’s starred on Broadway (Hairspray, Jersey Boys) and has shared the stage with luminaries including Debbie Harry, Adam Lambert, Serj Tankian, Paloma Faith & Darlene Love.
