Heartsick believes that beauty and breakdowns come in many forms and refuses to conform to your idea of aggressive music. Drawing inspiration from such genre defining bands like Deftones, Nine Inch Nails, Lamb of God and even System of A Down. Each song is a testament to their uncompromising brutality and love for shoegazing atmosphere. You’ll be beaten repeatedly by a battery of heavy guitar riffs from guitarist Richard Pruneau only to at times be shoved into a sea of smooth delay driven melodies from Alfonso Civile’s unique vocals. Bassist Waylon Fox and drummer Talmadge Bryan complete the balance of crushing low tones and groove driven beats that tie into their horror inspired production to create their very own genre of DARKNUCORE.
