DJ Charlie Brown

Nato a Palermo il 18 marzo 1978, cresce in una famiglia dove l'arte e la scienza si respirano nell'aria. Sin da piccolo ascolta tutto quello che è musica e la sua formazione attinge da vari generi, dal rock al pop dal rap alla musica dance che in fine lo coinvolge e lo proietta dentro il mondo della discoteca. A 17 anni arrivano i suoi primi giradischi ed il mixer con i quali comincia a cimentarsi nei primi party tra amici. All'inizio suona hip pop e dance ma le sue pulsazioni aumentano quando ascolta la tecno e tutte le sonorità underground. E' la metà degli anni 90 quando comincia a frequentare i club della sua città e da lì a collaborare nell'organizzazione dei migliori eventi di tendenza in quel periodo. Crescendo diventa uno dei principali esponenti delle notti alternative siciliane ed i suoi dj set lo portano ad essere sempre presente nelle consolle dei locali più esclusivi: Bier Garten (Palermo) - Palatime (Isola delle Femmine) - Imperium (Trabia) - Poison Ivy (Cefalù) - Tout Va (Taormina) - Taitù - (Giardini Naxos) - Dome (Sigonella) questi sono solo i più famosi. Charlie da sei anni è il dj resident de "Il Pachà" dove cura anche la programmazione artistica e l'organizazione degli eventi, con il suo staff NON DORMO +. L'attrazione e la passione che ha per la musica lo spinge ad avventurarsi anche nel mondo delle produzioni ed oggi, insieme al suo socio Peter, ha all' attivo diversi singoli che, secondo il parere di molti addetti ai lavori, sono veri e propri riempi pista. La sua fama cresce con lui e grazie alla collaborazione con diversi promoter che lo notano, attraversa artisticamente, e non solo, lo stretto di Sicilia e si esibisce nelle consolle di molti locali italiani tra i quali: La vecchia fattoria - Bel vedere marittimo (Calabria); Madà - Ostuni (Puglia); Holliwood - Roma; La canniccia - Versilia (Toscana); Adrenaline - Reggioemilia; Embassy - Rimini; Ecu - Riccione; Sky - Portorotondo (Sardegna); Sporting - Finale Ligure; The Beach - Torino; La Gare - Torino; Bolgia - Bergamo. I dj set di Charlie sono molto carichi e coinvolgenti, riesce a creare un atmosfera che rende unica ogni serata che lo vede protagonista. Born in Palermo in march 18 1978, Charlie grows up in a family where art and science were an everyday thing . since he was a child he listened to every kind of music and his education as a n artist is influenced by many sounds: rock, pop , rap and dance that at last takes him into the world of clubs. At the age of 17 Charlie gets his first console and he starts to play in private parties with friends. At first he played hip hop and dance but his beats grew when he listened to techno and all the underground sounds. it was the half of the '90s when he started to attend the clubs of his city, and he began to collaborate in the organization of the best style events of that period. Growing up he became one of the most popular characters of the alternative Sicilian nights and his dj-sets took him to be always playing on the consolles of the most brilliant clubs: Bier Garten (palermo) - Palatime (isola delle femmine) - imperium (trabia) - Poison Ivy (cefalù) - tout Va (taormina) - Taitù (giardini Naxos)- Dome (sigonella) just to mention the most famous ones. For six years Charlie has been the resident dj of "Il Pachà": one of the best Sicilian clubs, where he manages the artistic season and the organization of events with his staff named "NoN DoRmO +". The attraction and the passion that Charlie has for music took him into the production business, together his friend Peter, he has already created many tracks which are considered "Dance floor Brakers" by the clubs aficionados.
