About Strange Melizma
Strange Melizma was founded in 2011. It was a long way to find our own style: we started with blues-rock, we tried some other genres, you can listen to our first EP «The Road»(2015), which is at the junction of Stoner, Southern and Alternative Rock genres.
The release of «Song for the Peace» (Single, 2017) appears to be a new step of the band’s sound. Now we’re somewhere in between the incoming alternative and hard-rock avalanche and the overwhelming orange floods of prog. rock, which sembioticly lights everyone up and knocks’em down to the prehistorical call of Southern.
On 2018.2.11 the band released new single, called Craft Lamp, [SPOILER] a small part of the new album.
So, If you are a fan of tough-muscle brutal hurshed vocals, your heart and soul lives in 70s, but within your mind you realize that music always changes and improves - you’re in a right place and time.
