About James Kochalka Superstar

Headed by the cartoonist and musician, James Kochalka, James Kochalka Superstar specialize in surreal pop music with sometimes zany, sometimes inspired lyrics. Though sometimes considered a joke band or comedy band, they became somewhat of an online sensation with "Monkey Vs. Robot," from a 1997 album by the same name. They struck again with "Hockey Monkey," from the same album, which became the theme song for the Fox show, "The Loop." The most recent album is entitled "Spread your Evil Wings and Fly," and it features, among many other equally catchy songs, a four minute song where 75% of the lyrics are the phrase "Justin Timberlake" repeated over and over.
