Children of Orion

Children of Orion is a rock band from St. Petersburg, Florida. They released an Album Preview EP in December 2014, with their full, double-disc concept album, "A Thousand Year Love Story" due in Winter 2015. Every piece of music they write is tied to a unified concept, set in a universe very similar to our own; each album is its own story arc, with stories overlapping each other. They are the modern day bards, regaling with tales of dying galaxies, eternal souls, and everlasting love. The quintet mixes carefully crafted instrumental arrangements with prose delivered through two harmonious voices. And in their journey to spread their craft, they have taken a solid DIY-approach; they record, mix, and master their albums, book their own tours, photograph & design promo material, and film/direct their own music videos. Children of Orion doesn't accept any stops along the way--they create their own path. We create stories through music, and tell them on the stage.
