Hawksley was pure bliss and did sweet justice to his album of 20 years. An honour to be there.

Hawksley Workman, with the accompaniment of Mr. Lonely, put on an absolutely wonderful show that had the whole audience engaged and entertained. Hawksley played a variety of hits from his vast catalog of songs. For me, it was great to hear classics such as Bullets, Ice Age, and Jealous of your Cigarette. It was a bit odd to not hear Striptease, but I survived. In a moment of sheer luck, I passed by Hawksley on the way up to the venue and got a chance to shake his hand and tell him how much I appreciate his music. Hawksley was as kind and graceful as always. Of course, I should have asked him for a selfie... but I was just so awestruck that it slipped my mind. The memory won't fade anytime soon though. My date that night wasn't too familiar with Hawksley, aside from his rock hit Striptease. Afterwards, in the car, she was Googling some lyrics she remember so she could add a couple songs she really enjoyed to her playlist. Needless to say, Hawksley left an impression. If you have the opportunity to experience Hawksley live, then do yourself the grandest of favours and go! You will not be disappointed. I'm looking forward to the next time Hawksley graces Prince George with his prescence. (Special thanks to Books & Company for hosting such a brilliant event!)

Wonderful show, as usual! The renovation of Darke Hall is superb. The opening act, Mauvey was awe-inspiring. Fantastic performance.

I always begin smiling when Hawksley Workman takes to the stage. This venue is very suited to his lovely and libidinous lyrics. Every year when the air turns cooler and damper, "Autumn's Here" plays in my subconscious soundtrack, and seeing Hawksley play it here was particularly poignant this week. Like the best of this time of years, Halloween's revelry and wistful Remembrance, Hawksley Workman gives a great show.

Didn't miss a beat. He was and continues to be one of my all time favourite performers. Good to see him back with The Wolves. Montreal missed you Hawksley. He kept saying he worried that we forgot about him. Understandable, as he hadn't performef in Montreal much over the last long while... But believe me, we missed him terribly. What a beautiful, intimate night!

Hawksley was in top form once again...quirky, lively, and so good on his guitars. The band was tight as always making each "ditty" work well.

What a great set, band was sharp, music sounded great. Plus the scenery was amazing.

Amazing venue for an intimate show. Very happy fan :) I have not been able to see Hawksley since 2010, maybe the ONE time he came to Los Angeles while I lived there. Thank god im back east now!

Hawksley has been one of my favourite acts for over a decade now. A consummate vocalist and instrumentalist, he combines a humorous and thoughtful patois with beautifully and originally crafted songs. If you love folk with a rock/pop sensibility, or vice-versa, go ahead and see him.

Thanks Hawksley for getting off the couch and gathering up such a fine group of musicians to play with you. It was a fine evening of entertainment.
