Cécile is an Anglo-French singer-songwriter based in the UK. For the last four years she has been building her reputation in the Bristol music scene with her nylon string guitar and combination of English and French vocals. She brings a distinctive and crowd-soothing voice, touching melodies and an endearing personality to the stage to deliver gentle and honest live performances.

Cécile recorded and released her debut EP in 2015; a collection of songs reflecting on time and memories. ‘Ten Past Twelve’ captures the simplicity of acoustic tunes and touching melodies. It was recorded in a DIY format, arranged and co-produced by fellow musician Jack Cookson (BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award Nominee).

After a successful tour of Eastern France in 2016, Cécile has been gigging regularly in the UK, both as headline and support. Recent performance highlights include SofarSound, Bristol Bierkeller, The Louisiana, Dot-to-Dot Festival, Cornwall Folk Festival and the Bristol Harbour Festival. She has shared the stage with the likes of Emily & ​​Ogden, Lonely Tourist, Circe's Diner and Emily Magpie; as well as collaborating with several musicians from the South West region; most recently with Gavin Osborn on his latest album ‘Echo Bridge’.
