Monica Austin

Monica Austin is a Country Recording artist from Muscatine, Iowa. Her slice-of-life writing style and swing for the fences stage show are a refreshing, honest representation of growing up in the Heartland and have earned a fiercely loyal fanbase there. Monica’s brand of country music didn’t originate on a farm, but rather in a little trailer park in Cambridge, IL. Her tendency to perform in bare feet over the genre-standard cowgirl boots is nearly as indicative of her journey as her lyrics. Often referred to as a “powerhouse vocalist”, Monica’s soaring belt and soulful grit are indicative of her 90’s country music influences, such as: Wynonna Judd, Faith Hill, Martina McBride and Reba. She has opened for Wynonna and the Big Noise, Mitchell Tenpenny, Allie Colleen and Carly Pearce and is currently headlining her own “Midwest Mama” tour, promoting her 2023 album of the same name. Monica’s live performance and tour schedule earned her the title of 2022 Midwest Country Music Organization Entertainer of the Year. Her original music is available for download and purchase on all digital platforms and is regularly featured on 25+ radio stations via the Midwest Country Music Originals syndicated radio show.
